Yogi Babu has responded to recent allegations made by a film producer who claimed the actor demanded Rs. 7 lakh to attend a promotional event for the film Gajana. The accusation led to criticism online, suggesting Yogi Babu skipped the event due to payment issues.
At the promotional event of his new film Jora Kaithattungal, Yogi Babu addressed the controversy. He explained that he acted in Gajana for just two days, only as a favor to someone who once worked with him.
He questioned why he was being blamed for not promoting a film in which he had only a small role.
He firmly stated, “Jora Kaithattungal is my film. You can question me if I skip this, but not for a film where I just did a cameo”.
On payment claims, he said, “I have people who are willing to pay me for promotions. Shall I share their names?” His calm and clear response has been appreciated by fans.
