The COVID-19 pandemic arrived unexpectedly, shaking the world and bringing with it widespread stress, fear, confusion, and deep uncertainty for both people and businesses everywhere.
As we navigate the challenges ahead — in the workplace and beyond — it’s essential that individuals are equipped to handle the psychological, social, and economic impacts of COVID-19 with calm, clarity, and resilience. Our personal and collective well-being relies on it.
In light of this, the Workplace Mental Health Institute reached out to its global network of experts, inviting them to share their knowledge, advice, and practical strategies to help others manage during this difficult time. The response was inspiring: 18 experts from 9 countries offered their insights.
This Special Edition of WorkLIFE has become much more than just a publication from the Workplace Mental Health Institute. It’s now a heartfelt collaboration — a true act of kindness and solidarity from caring professionals around the world.
We are deeply grateful to these 18 contributors, and we extend special thanks to all the frontline heroes — healthcare workers, police, pharmacists, supermarket staff, truck drivers, delivery workers, and so many others — who continue to risk their health and safety to support us all.
THANK YOU.
And to you, our reader: May this magazine offer you support, encouragement, and hope. It’s shared with love — please stay healthy and safe.
