The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright’s New Bar SHUT DOWN Before It Opened – Deal Terminated!
Brittany Cartwright’s much-anticipated West Hollywood bar, Britt’s WeHo, is officially off the table — despite her recent promises that it would open by March.
The Valley star, 36, first shared the exciting news in 2024, revealing she was launching her own establishment just steps from where her Bravo journey began at SUR. The bar, she said, would be located just doors down from Lisa Vanderpump’s TomTom and serve as a sister spot to her estranged husband Jax Taylor’s bar, Jax’s Studio City.
“I’m gonna have my own bar in West Hollywood right across from where I started, near SUR,” she said on a 2024 episode of her When Reality Hits With Jax & Brittany podcast. “TomTom is three doors down from me… It’s in the best location ever. I cannot wait!”
But now, The U.S. Sun has confirmed that Britt’s WeHo will no longer be moving forward. The deal was quietly terminated earlier this year, before new management took over the restaurant space Brittany had secured.
“Britt’s WeHo was never part of the deal with a new team taking over and they do not have any plans to open it in the future,” a source told the outlet.
“The deal was terminated before they were involved at all. It wasn’t their call and had nothing to do with Brittany. Unfortunately, she just got caught in the crosshairs of a business decision.” The West Hollywood space, located in a prime spot along Santa Monica Boulevard, is now under different leadership — and there’s no indication that Brittany will reopen her bar concept elsewhere.
As recently as February, Brittany had been updating fans on the project’s progress, assuring podcast listeners that the opening was still on track — albeit delayed.
“I am still opening my restaurant,” she said at the time. “I’m so excited! Britt’s WeHo will be opening soon, hoping like late March-ish.”
While the news may disappoint Bravo fans, Brittany remains busy with the upcoming second season of The Valley, which premieres April 15 on Bravo.
She and Jax — who helped her design Jax’s Studio City — will return to screens as they navigate a high-profile split, business ventures, and co-parenting.
Jax Taylor’s bar, which opened in October 2023, remains open and will host a watch party for The Valley Season 2 premiere. Meanwhile, no new location has been announced for Britt’s WeHo.
