Donald Trump supporters aren’t happy with the Supreme Court.
After the highest tribunal in the nation blocked the president’s use of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport illegal immigrants on Saturday, April 19, Trump fans are calling for the government entity to be done away with completely.

“Ignore the Supreme Court. Arrest anyone who tries to enforce this [ruling],” conservative pundit Jesse Kelly wrote on X on Saturday, April 19. “Dissolve the Supreme Court entirely if they push. You can deport foreigners, or you don’t have a country anymore. There are no good choices now.”
Federalist co-founder Sean Davis boldly chimed in on the conversation on the social media platform, writing, “When we’re done deporting illegals, it’s time to start deporting rogue judges.”
“The Redheaded Libertarian” Josie Glabach questioned of the January 6 rioters, “Why did the Supreme Court not get involved when American citizens were being locked in DC’s Gulag without due process for years, but they are interfering with the deportation of criminal gang members from third world countries under the Constitutional Alien Enemies Act?”

In the early morning hours of Saturday, April 19, the Supreme Court halted Donald Trump’s mass deportation of alleged illegal immigrants in an action related to a group of migrants in Texas who have claimed the administration is wrongfully trying to kick them out of the country.
“The government is directed not to remove any member of the putative class of detainees from the United States until further order of this court,” the group made clear in a statement via CNN.

However, not every member of the court was supportive of the move. Later on Saturday, April 19, conservative Justice Samuel Alito released his own dissent of the swift action. Judge Clarence Thomas also backed the criticism.
“In sum, literally in the middle of the night, the Court issued unprecedented and legally questionable relief without giving the lower courts a chance to rule, without hearing from the opposing party, within eight hours of receiving the application, with dubious factual support for its order and without providing any explanation for its order,” Alito wrote, according to the New York Post.

Donald Trump’s administration expressed their frustration with the Supreme Court barring them from doing what they set out to accomplish.
“The government has agreed not to remove pursuant the AEA those AEA detainees who do file habeas claims,” the Republican leader’s top appellate attorney General D. John Sauer wrote in response, according to CNN. “This court should dissolve its current administrative stay and allow the lower courts to address the relevant legal and factual questions in the first instance – including the development of a proper factual record.”
