Princess Catherine knows what it’s like to be caught in the middle of a nasty family feud, especially thanks to a new in-law, and now she’s welcoming Victoria Beckham to the club!

The Spice Girls alum is currently on the outs with her son Brooklyn after the latter ditched his father David’s 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month. Posh apparently still has major issues with her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, which first arose around the 2022 wedding. Their tense dynamic is said to be one of the main factors of the estrangement. Sound familiar?? It’s so similar to the royal rift involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!

Kate Middleton seemingly caught wind of the drama and gave the fashion designer a nod while presenting the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at an event hosted by the British Fashion Council. She showed up to the ceremony on Tuesday in an olive Victoria Beckham suit and was overheard telling recipient Patrick McDowell, per The Sun:

“I love British fashion and up-and-coming designers.”

Not shocking considering she’s a British royal whose fashion choices make a big impact on a designer’s career! But still… The timing of the ‘fit doesn’t feel like a coincidence!
