Sathyaraj has strongly criticized Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM and actor Pawan Kalyan for his recent comments made at the Murugan Conference in Tamil Nadu.
Sathyaraj accused Pawan of trying to mix politics with religion for personal gain. He warned him not to underestimate the intelligence of Tamil people and not to misuse religious platforms for political mileage, especially in a state that respects Periyar’s ideologies.
Pawan Kalyan, without naming anyone had questioned why certain leaders opposed the Murugan Conference being held in Tamil Nadu and accused some secularists of targeting only Hinduism.
His words sparked backlash from DMK leaders and supporters. Sathyaraj’s unexpected criticism created a stir especially given his clean and respected image.
Some leaders even challenged Pawan Kalyan to contest elections in Tamil Nadu if he truly believes in his ideology.
