Luke Bryan, the country star, has lit up the Twitter by calling all American Idol voters to action. He had sent a simple but urgent message saying, ‘It’s time to vote y’all @AmericanIdol,’ along with a hype-worthy pic. The reply? Well, let’s just say pure chaos in the best kind of way.

Sherry Krieger aka Elektra36 jumped in quickly to fan the flames, having voted but unwilling to send six contestants packing next Monday. The emotional struggle is real, people. Meanwhile, ‘the New John in VA’ kept it vague: ’22, everybody’-no context, just vibes. Such a classic Twitter.
But alas, not so many seem to be showing the love. Instead, one James BROWN (with emphasis for the ever-concerned) just seemed to be having a problem: When Arizona residents were shut out in voting after the first performance. Oof. That’s a pretty bad mark for an interactive show.
But more drama ensued. Pattykad through a major shade, saying that MKY (whoever that is) was “better than half of those.” Emmanuel Parks jumped in behind him, saying that MKY had “star power” and had sung better than the others. Sounds like someone got robbed and the internet is not going to forget about it.
DeePhenomenally dropped the most tactical of all tweets: “#3, #6, #12, #16.” No explanation given. Either some code or very specific betting pool. Nancy Moreno? ‘Amazing Easter how’-that could be anything from a typo to maybe poetry-but we will never know.
Dr. Satwinder Singh was broadcasting live from the show, encouraging everyone to vote and asking who their favorite is this season. Good question, doctor. But whatever this glitchy drama, the shady comparisons, and random numbers suggest one thing: American Idol still lives strong in the hearts of its fans.
What lies ahead? Simply put, six contestants will be shown the door, Arizona either riots or mopes, and Luke Bryan sits back with his sweet tea as the internet burns. Wait-a-whole-hot-art-mess of a season. And we are here for it.

Vote if you can. If not, complain. And shout-out to MKY: Maybe drop a single ’cause the people have spoken! In case you missed the window.
