This time, one single concept photo titled Echo was dropped with little to no captions-more or less Jin’s name and a hashtag-more of less, something-on-something-else-when-dealing-with-suave-face. The very photo has an air of cinematic charm, looking like stills from a high-budget fantasy drama where Jin plays the enigmatic prince who may or may not be hiding magical powers.

Everybody out there is pushing in every fashion trying to speculate-More solo singles? album teasers? Or just drop something aesthetic to throw us off productivity for the day? Classic BigHit-makes a fool out of us, all with zero explanations. Well, who needs an explanation when Jin is staring right into your soul? He could post an old self-taken blurry selfie in a dark, dank closet, and that would break the internet.
The crickets in the replies are what really crazy. Usually, BTS never ceases flooding this in a matter of seconds. This one might be scorned without any comment. There must have been some glitch in Twitter or people have just started lost for words staring at the photo. Can’t really blame them; it’s just next level-the dramatic illumination sprinkling sharp detail onto Jin’s features. Not to mention the styling; pure flawless. The person who dresses him should have had a raise yesterday.
Up until the time of writing, there’s no information that can identify either the release date or the packaging formats; if past is any guide, you’ll probably see this as a first teaser of many, leading to…something. BigHit surely enjoys stretching rollouts, so everybody out there pants would be strung a little tight. If ‘Echo’ is part of something bigger, the whole process will be maddeningly slow torture with little crumbs every day. And honestly? Count us in. Jin’s solo endeavors have always had a masterclass in emotion-need we mention ‘Moon’? ‘Abyss’?-so if this happens to be anything in relation to new music, grab the tissues.
