I am sorry this world is unfair.
I am sorry to those who are affected by the unfairness.
I am sorry this world is painful at times or most of the time.
I wish I could take all of your pain, suffering and hurt, because I know I have the strength to handle it.
I don’t want anyone to be forgotten.
But for some reason, we forget people.
We forget that everyone deserves a fair shot at life, even though we don’t give it.
We forget that if we were given a blessed life, others deserve the same.
I will try my best to make sure you are not forgotten.
I am trying to understand a system that was built to not be fixed and remain uneven.
I want a fair place for all of us, however this world has been built upon unfairness.
I don’t know where to start sometimes, but I have started.
That twenty year old girl who almost died in her room, she will never forget you.
She wakes up every morning with a grateful heart, but also a heart that knows no one should be forgotten.
I know the system is faulted, and trying to fix it, is not easy.
But, I’d rather wake up every single day trying then sitting there saying it’s too hard to fix or it’s too broken, so don’t waste your time.
I promise to you that I will try.
I am sorry. More than you will ever know.
You deserve better.
I won’t give up. I never have in anything I have done in my life, and I never will.
Will it be difficult, yes.
A challenge, maybe.
But you all know, I’ve always liked a good challenge…
