After charming audiences with romantic comedies like Tanu Weds Manu and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, producer Vinod Bachchan is back with Ginny Weds Sunny 2.
This 2nd part introduces a new lead pair Avinash Tiwary and Medha Shankr. The actors recently shared clapboard pictures from the set in Uttarakhand marking the start of the shoot.
The Ginny Weds Sunny released on Netflix in 2020 with Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey became a blockbuster hit. The sequel promises a fresh story filled with romance, humor and family drama.
Speaking about the project Vinod Bachchan said the love for the first film inspired them to explore new characters and narratives. He believes Avinash and Medha bring a refreshing energy to the screen.
Ginny Weds Sunny 2 is written and directed by Prashant Jha and produced by Vinod Bachchan under the Soundrya Production banner. The team aims to deliver another heartfelt entertainer.
