How to Make Garlic Butter Steak:

This recipe is super simple, only five minutes to prep and 13 minutes to cook. We start with flank steak seasoned with smoked paprika, onion powder, chili powder, sea salt and freshly ground pepper. Then we sear the steak on both sides in a cast iron skillet, and drizzle with a simple garlic butter sauce made in the same pan as the steak so you get the brown bits and seasonings left in the pan. Swoon!

Slice Flank Steak Against the Grain:

Flank steak has a very obvious grain, you can see it both while it’s raw and after it’s cooked. It’s important to cut against the grain so the meat is more tender and easier to chew. Against the grain simply means this: find which way the grain (lines in the meat) is going, cut across that grain instead of along the grain.

Low Carb-Keto Friendly:

This steak is low carb and keto compliant.
