Donald Trump got an interesting response when evaluating his first 100 days in office.
During NewsNation’s town hall on Wednesday, April 30, which was hosted by Chris Cuomo, Bill O’Reilly, and Stephen A. Smith, the president was asked by an audience member about the one mistake he’s made since returning to the White House. Unfortunately for Trump, his answer made the crowd laugh out loud.

Former Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly asked Donald Trump — who called into the gathering — the question out loud. “I got a studio audience question from Lee Shapiro. Lee’s a tough guy. Lee says, ‘What’s the biggest mistake you think you’ve made in your first 100 days?'” the right-wing pundit asked.
“I’ll tell you, that’s the toughest question I could have because I don’t really believe I’ve made mistakes,” Trump stated.
The commander-in-chief’s response drew intense laughter from the people attending the event.
“I think Lee is reassured,” O’Reilly quipped.
Donald Trump did his best to justify the controversial actions he’s taken with tariffs, immigration and government layoffs in recent months.
“We’re in a transition period. I think you’re going to see tremendous economic victories over the next period of a year, like far greater than ever imagined. Right now, as I said, we’re losing billions and billions of dollars on trade. We’re going to make millions and billions of dollars, but it takes a little while. That doesn’t happen overnight, but it will happen much faster than people understand,” he explained.
Bill O’Reilly also pressed Donald Trump on when the American citizens can see the payoff of his tariffs. “When do you think, though, it’s going to turn around economically so that people aren’t frightened? Do you have a timeline on it?” the media personality questioned.
“Very fair question,” the businessman noted while pointing out the companies that are allegedly establishing outposts in the United States.
“Countries are calling us, like, morning, noon and night dying to make a deal,” Trump said. “We’re in a great position of strength.”
While Donald Trump doesn’t think he’s made any slipups in the past few months, the Wall Street Journal had some critiques of The Apprentice star.
“It’s a mistake to think the tariff damage is only domestic,” their Monday, April 28, think piece read. “The willy-nilly assault on friends and foes has shaken global confidence in U.S. reliability. Ken Griffin, the investor and major donor to Mr. Trump, summed it up last week as a self-inflicted blow to the American brand. The U.S. is needlessly ceding global economic leadership.”
