Call CPS?! Fans are sounding the alarm after Real Housewives of New York City star Erin Lichy was caught on camera shaking up a martini with one hand — while holding her newborn baby with seemingly no neck support in the other.
In the now-viral video, posted to her TikTok account earlier this week, Erin, 37, is seen holding her baby boy, Jack, in one arm while casually shaking a cocktail shaker in the other. The clip is set to Diamond DonDada’s audio “She’s Back,” with Erin mouthing the lyrics and smiling for the camera.
But what was meant to be a lighthearted moment quickly drew backlash. Several viewers pointed out that Jack’s head appeared to be unsupported, with one person commenting, “This is dangerous and disgusting.”
Another added, “Erin do better. The baby’s neck isn’t supported. This is unsafe,” while a third suggested she should “get off of social media.” “She’s more worried about her drink than her baby,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Somebody call CPS—this is not OK!”
Erin didn’t hesitate to respond, clapping back with, “It looks worse than it is promise lol.” She also supported a fan who called the critics “haters,” replying in agreement.
While some took issue with the clip, many others defended Lichy, noting that she’s already a mom to three older children: Levi, 9, Layla, 7, and Elijah, 4. “She knows what she’s doing,” one fan commented. Another wrote, “The baby will be fine.”
The Bravo star and her husband Abe Lichy welcomed baby Jack in March 2025. She shared the news in a heartfelt Instagram post with family photos and the caption “#crazyinlove.”
Erin first revealed her pregnancy in November 2024, telling People at the time that adding a fourth child felt like “another act to the circus.”
“Work and life have been so busy that I haven’t really had a chance to even think about how it’ll change things,” she said at the time. “But I think it will be pretty seamless, to be honest.”
She added that what she was most looking forward to was, “enjoying a Mezcalum cocktail and going out for a massive sushi dinner again!”
Despite the parenting police weighing in online, Erin appears unfazed and confident in her parenting skills. With four kids and a full-time spot on RHONY, Erin is used to juggling chaos — martini in hand or not.
