Bronwyn Newport was faced with claims of potential infidelity by her husband, Todd Bradley, on Instagram this week.
Amid filming on the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and just after Bronwyn, 39, was hit with allegations of grand theft and identity theft, a social media user claimed to have images of Todd, 65, enjoying a supposed lunch date with another woman in Southern California.
“Message me.. I have some pics of him at lunch with someone younger today in [Southern California],” the person wrote, as seen in screenshots shared by Bravo Boo on Instagram.
“I’m sure… He has been in Utah for the last two weeks,” Bronwyn replied.
“No [for real] I have a pic of him in a restaurant in Manhattan Beach yesterday. Swear. I met you in the Aspen airport. I wouldn’t lie,” the IG user insisted. “DM me if [you] want the pic. Just looking out for [you] queen.”
But again, Bronwyn stated that her husband was not in California.
“I appreciate you trying to look out but I’m telling you he was at working from home with me, visiting my dad with me and at dinner with me yesterday,” she stated in a second response.
As the messages continued, the person added, “It was at Martha’s in Hermosa Beach.”
Still, Bronwyn wrote off the claim against Todd, accusing the IG user of pressing a “non-issue.”
“Doll, again, I appreciate you trying, but I was with him all day except for two hours when I ran a solo errand. He didn’t go to Hermosa Beach yesterday. Stop pressing a nonissue and trying to create a problem,” she demanded.
Days after the screenshots were captured, Bronwyn took to her Instagram Story to refute another rumor regarding her daughter, Gwen, and her first marriage.
“Bronwyn telling public lies to [RHOSLC] fans. She was married before Todd. Her daughter called him daddy. Bronwyn marries Todd. Remember at the … The only dad her daughter knew has been erased by her lies,” someone had written in the caption of a series of images of Bronwyn, her ex, and her daughter.
But after the post was made, Bronwyn issued a statement, slamming the claim as “nonsensical” as she explained Gwen’s relationship with her former spouse.
“I’m torn. I appreciate knowing when something this nonsensical is said, but I also wish people wouldn’t send me all the nastiness I don’t engage with on Twitter to my Insta DMs,” she wrote. “I let a lot of nonsense about ME go by on social media. But I do not play when it comes to my daughter. She has never called anyone by the title dad. Unfortunately, for her she does not know her biological father. My first short marriage did not bring a ‘daddy’ into her life. For years before that marriage, and for years after it was only us two. Since then, Todd is the closest thing she has.”
“I am disgusted and done with people discussing my daughter. My ill advised, brief marriage (which I have always referenced in my many public Q&A’s and never hidden) to this man does not make him Gwen’s father. A photographer mistakenly listing him as her ‘daddy’ on these social media photos years ago does not make him her father in any way. She called him by his first name. He was never a father figure to her. It’s pathetic that people continue and make my child, who has no social media and rarely films a point of discussion, especially trying to speak for her about a subject like family,” she concluded.
No word yet on a premiere date for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six.
