CNN’s Kaitlan Collins felt Donald Trump‘s wrath.
During a meeting with the press alongside President Nayib Bukele in the Oval Office on Monday, April 14, the journalist questioned the Republican about the deportation of an El Salvadoran national after the Supreme Court ruled he should be returned to America. Unfortunately for Collins, Trump was less than thrilled with her prying into the matter.

During the gathering, Kaitlan Collins pressed Donald Trump about the return of Maryland resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia after he was mistakenly sent to El Salvador. “You said if the Supreme Court said someone needed to be returned, you’d abide by that,” the left-leaning journalist asked. “Why don’t you just say, ‘Isn’t it wonderful that we’re keeping criminals out of our country?'” the commander-in-chief spat back. “That’s why nobody watches you anymore. You have no credibility.”
Donald Trump continued to appear flustered and turned to ask his Homeland Security Adviser Stephen Miller to answer Kaitlan Collins’ query.
“Can you just also respond to that question because, you know, it’s asked by CNN, and they always ask it with a slant because they’re totally slanted because they don’t know what’s happening,” the former star of The Apprentice instructed his staffer.
Later in the press briefing, when Collins attempted to ask Nayib Bukele a question about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, Trump chimed in, “Let’s hear this question from this very low-rated anchor at CNN.”
Kaitlan Collins and Donald Trump have a history of clashing during press briefings.
When the media personality asked the businessman if he believed Russian President Vladimir Putin wanted peace, Trump became irritated and went off on a tangent about former President Joe Biden‘s handling of the war in Ukraine.
“This should have been done by Biden years ago. This should have never been allowed to happen,” he lamented. Trump then joked that Putin was a “friend of CNN.”
“That’s why nobody watches CNN anymore — because they have no credibility,” he added.
Elsewhere in the Monday, April 14, joint press event with Nayib Bukele, El Salvador‘s President said he would not be returning Kilmar Abrego Garcia to America.
“How can I return him to the United States? Like if I smuggle him into the United States?” the foreign leader said, according to NBC News. “Of course I’m not going to do it. The question is preposterous.”
