Endox has now been fully rebranded, operating under the new names of Alleima Dettingen GmbH and Alleima Poland Sp. z o.o.

Why did Alleima acquire Endox?
Acquisitions are a key element of Alleima’s growth strategy. We are continuously exploring new opportunities in all markets and are committed to develop our business with a long-term strategic view that aligns with the needs of the medical device industry.
Endox, founded in 2001, specialises in nitinol and stainless-steel medical products and components primarily in the fields of urology, gastroenterology, and endoscopy. Its product portfolio includes catheter guidewires, polypectomy snares, stone retrieval baskets and other general surgery wires, strands and tubes. Therefore, its business, certifications and customer base were complementary to ours and offered Alleima the opportunity to expand our wide range of precision manufacturing capabilities, addressable market and product portfolio in the fast-growing medical business.
The combined capabilities and footprint will drive new product development and geographical sales expansion, as well as possibilities of joint utilisation of production and application capabilities. The company’s P&L will be reported in Alleima’s Kanthal division.
What are the benefits for Alleima customers?
The acquired company was renowned for its partnership with experienced physicians and clinics and placing innovative products on the market. Over the decades, Endox has brought numerous unique new developments to the market and has international product approvals.
It uses state-of-the-art production technologies such as laser welding, laser cutting, micro plasma welding and centreless grinding, focusing on high-quality materials such as stainless steel and nitinol.
Through the acquisition, we added products in four categories: guidewires, snares, baskets and catheter component manufacturing. The product portfolios and expertise in Endox makes the Alleima Group an even more attractive supplier and partner to both current and new customers.
By leveraging the new capabilities in guidewires and laser processing, we can offer an even more competitive edge.
Will customers experience any changes in service, or support?
The rebranding does not affect our commitment; it only enhances the experience through a more unified offering. We will continue providing the same great service as before, now also supported by a large, global company.
What footprint does Alleima have today within medical?
Currently, the medical business comprises production facilities located in Palm Coast and Tucson in the United States, as well as a sales office in Costa Rica. In the EMEA region, operations span Dettingen, Karlsruhe, and Stutensee in Germany; Bielsko Biala in Poland; Sonceboz in Switzerland; and Calimera in Italy.
We are also establishing a production facility in Penang, Malaysia, with commercial deliveries expected in 2026.
