Vijay Devarakonda’s much-awaited film Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, has been postponed to July 4th, 2025. This spy thriller is among the most anticipated films next year.
In an interview Vijay shared an interesting story about a film he almost did, Oke Oka Jeevitham. The script was narrated to him three times, and he loved it so much that he even considered producing it.
However, he felt he wasn’t the right fit for the role. Though he wanted to support it as a producer, that didn’t happen either, as producer SR Prabu decided to take it up.
The film, released in 2022 with Sharwanand in the lead, received positive reviews. Ironically, Vijay’s Liger, which was a major failure, released just a month before.
Looking ahead, Vijay has promising films lined up with Rahul Sankrityan and Ravi Kiran Kola (Rowdy Janardhan), plus a Kingdom sequel in the works.
