What little data we get about the performance of WWE Raw on Netflix is here. It comes from the streamer itself via their Tudum website.
Tudum ranks Netflix’s Top 10 shows by weekly number of views, which it calculates by dividing the time all subscribers spent watching a program by its duration. The default is a global ranking, which is also the only one where Netflix shows its work (e.g. the numbers behind the ranking). You can view the Top 10 for each country Netflix is in, but that only gives you a ranking, no numbers. Similar ranked lists are available for shows in English, one for shows in all other languages, and corresponding Top 10s for movies.
Raw’s 14th episode on Netflix streamed live from Minneapolis on April 7, meaning it was live in primetime in the United States for the first time in a month. The second-to-last episode before WrestleMania 41 featured stars set for big matches on that show like CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley & Bianca Belair, and Netflix-associated comedians Tony Hinchcliffe & Bert Kreischer. It ranked tenth globally among English-language shows in the seven-day span that ended on April 12.
That’s down two spots from March 24’s episode, and only the second time Raw’s finished that low worldwide. Last Monday’s show had 2.8 million views, down 100K from the previous episode and tied with two other episodes for second-lowest viewership on Netflix. For comparison sake, the streamer’s top show — finally knocking Adolescence from the top spot after a month (the acclaimed limited series is still second) — was season one of Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing with 9.8 million views for the week.
For live viewers, Raw aired opposite an excellent NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament final between Houston and Florida. CBS’ coverage of Florida’s come-from-behind win drew 18.1 million viewers and scored a 9.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic, per SportsMediaWatch. It was the most watched men’s championship game since 2019, and the highest rated since 2021.
Back to Netflix… last week’s Raw was sixth in the U.S., unchanged from the week before in WWE’s biggest market. On April 1, WWE launched on Netflix in another key market, India, but Raw failed to make the Top Ten in the world’s most populous country — and doesn’t seem to have boosted the show’s global stats, either.
With the caveat that we didn’t check every Netflix market, here’s a rundown of how the April 7 episode ranked in countries where Raw’s placed in the past…
Australia: Did not place in the top ten for the second straight week
Bolivia: Seventh (down two from the previous week)
Canada: DNP (down at least four spots)
Mexico: Seventh (up at least four spots)
Saudi Arabia: DNP (down at least one spot)
United Kingdom: Eighth (down two spots)
If Raw slips out of the global Top 10, it seems like we’ll stop getting any “views” data. We’ll continue to pass along whatever information we do get, and add it to our regular rundown of Raw’s TUDUM-reported performance for each episode of the Netflix Era:
