The internet fully went detective after Twenty One Pilots posted what looked almost innocent but was slightly cryptic. Well, it sent the followers into turmoil. Tafraighbours has also been famed for layered text and hidden messages; here, in this case, it is practically a check-in with their fans, though it dawned into a whirlwind of theories and reactions.

The post read: “oh, how are you doing tonight? are you doing ok? are yøu doing ok?” That substitution of “you” to “yøu,” the one with that rare Scandinavian ‘ø,’ grilled the fans because for Twenty One Pilots, everything is intentional.
@Felicity_paints summed it up: “My eye is twitching over the ‘ø’.” More serious reactions followed: “I literally heard Tyler Joseph’s voice in my head when reading this” to which someone else replied, “Right? I was doing fine till I saw that 😭.”
@rainenn expressed that they would be doing amazing when the Blurryface 10 year anniversary tour drops, to which people responded with “OMGGG” and “REAL” as if half of them were already in the queue for ticket purchase.
But this enigmatic vibe was not to everyone’s taste; hence @andreacheslin came back with, “No, can’t figure out your flippin lore I’m going insane, but thanks for asking. How are yøu?” And that was a mood. Meanwhile, @enituoriah spiced things up against the flow of ongoing discussions by roasting the band with, “you don’t even know how to draw A HEART,” which spurred a mini-debate whether it was a joke or not in the reply.
Things going messier is funny for the international crowd. “Pues aquí con flojera, tanta flojera que no quise darles un corazón,” said @danni.dg.dw, which roughly translates to: “Well, here with laziness, so much laziness that I didn’t want to give you a heart.” A whole mood, honestly.
Theories started to fly—was this a reference to past cryptic writings? A clue toward fresh tunes? Or just Tyler goofing around with everyone? @l3git_a_rockzstar seems convinced it is a nod to that infamous “Do you feef at home” thing, which-if you know, you know.
Other fans, however, were just trying to keep themselves from sinking under post-concert depression, like @aysel.ga, who wrote, “I’m suffering from pcd, now what’s with the caption?🫠” Because nothing really hits you hard after the emotional crash from a TOP show.
Still, to date, there has been no word on whether the ‘ø’ signifies anything, and this has only fueled speculation. Knowing this band, this could mean nothing at all, or it could very well be the first real hint toward months of ARG. In any case, die-hard fans have now gotten onto it, picking into every letter, and that is just how this fandom rolls.

Are they okay? Probably. Are the fans? That is up for debate. But one thing is obvious: when Twenty One Pilots wants to give mind games to people, they do it with style.
