It seems that Selena Gomez decided to treat the whole world with another musical offering and release an extended play version of “Scared Of Loving You” on YouTube along with Benny Blanco. This caused a social storm, with everybody scrambling to consume the new content. And we know-how can anything that Selena releases go bad?

VEVO has now dusted off this EP and offered a little newer version to unleash more of the trademark Selena Gomez magic. The visuals, the vocals, the vibe-that something about this is pure quality. And, of course, the internet would not stop gushing over it.
User Dorelena was completely dazzled by that voice of hers and said, “Loved to see you sing with so much joy. That voice 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 🥹.” And honestly, the feeling is mutual. Selena’s voice almost hits you on the other side; it’s smooth, heartfelt, and full of life; as if she were singing just for you.
Another fan, Morteza Yousefi, wrote about the chemistry between the two: “So dope how their love shines in this performance.” Whatever the vibe between them is-youthful camaraderie or pure creative synergy-it’s highly electrical, and they certainly put one another in the spotlight better.
That said, some comments weren’t complimentary. Sepatu, an internet user, tossed some shade: “And you’ll never sing it live lol.” Ouch. But let’s forgive Selena for that, shall we? She herself has opened up publicly about her live performance difficulties due to health issues. Then again, the comment section was full mostly of love, like this one from Blue Libertad: “Tu voz 👑❤️🫶” (laughs in Spanish).
Some went with all-caps-out-loud excitement, such as this from a swan-fan: “I love you selenaaaaa YOU ARE SLAYING BIGGGGG TIMEEEEEE BABYYYYY.” It is contagious, really. Then Jesse came in with the classic “TE AMO,” because sometimes all you need are three letters for everything.
The EP is an actual vibe: melancholic, romantic, and amazingly contagious. It is the track that goes on repeat when you are fully immersed in your feels. And with Benny Blanco handling the production, it has that fine yet raw Sonic personality that really makes it remarkable.
Certainly, not every comment about the music went in agreement. User Joseph33 voiced the serious concern: “Help Palestine please.” It’s a reminder that in spite of us celebrating, the world actually goes on and people will happily use such occasions as platforms to speak for causes they deeply believe in.
Now back on only the music-which is what this is really about. Selena has been celebrating. And lately, of course, the EP serves as a good reminder as to why she remains one of the favorites. Check it out if you were there from the start or maybe just finding out about her now.

So, tell me, if you don’t know what all the fuss is about and are still left to wonder-well, get over to YouTube and hit play as those vibes take charge. Just in case you are caught up in a binge-a warm welcome to the cult. Selena has done it again.
