Vijay Devarakonda is currently busy with his film Kingdom which is set to release on July 4th. Meanwhile he is preparing for his next project, Rowdy Janardhan, a rural drama directed by Ravi Kiran Kola. The film’s pre-production is underway and the shoot will begin later this year.
A special update reveals that veteran actor Rajasekhar has been signed for an important role in the film. A look test was conducted, and Rajasekhar agreed to the role after the makers accepted his remuneration.
Though he’s been approached for several films recently Rajasekhar has been selective, making this a rare full-length role that he’s excited about.
Rashmika will play the female lead and the film is being produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations owned by Dil Raju.
Vijay is also set to begin shooting for another film with director Rahul Sankrityan from June making it a packed schedule for the actor.
