The Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich‘s son, Jax Ulbrich, 21, was part of a prank call that went viral during the 2025 NFL Draft.
Jax was allegedly part of a group that prank called quarterback prospect Shedeur Sanders, telling him he would be drafted to the New Orleans Saints.
Jax allegedly got Shedeur‘s phone number from his dad’s iPad.
Many are calling for the NFL to take disciplinary action in some way, such as docking a draft pick, as the prank was viewed as cruel due to Shedeur dropping in the draft. He did not end up being selected until the fifth round to the Cleveland Browns.

NFL insider Adam Schefter posted on X, “The Falcons will not take any action against their defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich. They are continuing to review their protocols to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again.”
