35 year old pregnant lady going for elective c-section. Her blood gases showed the following:

PH = 7.56

PO2= 55 mmHg

PCO2 = 26 mmHg

HCO3 = 20 mmol/L

Na = 136 mmol/L

K = 3.3 mmol/L

Cl = 106 mmol/L

Lactate = 1.0 mmol/L

Cr = 54 nmol/L

Glucose = 4.3 mmol/L
