To me, Temptation Island is nothing but a toxic environment. It is nothing short of a group of young people wanting to hook up and have fun with each other without consequence – which reminded me of a few of the most popular Netflix reality dating shows, such as Too Hot To Handle and Perfect Match. All three of these shows consist of people coupling up in hopes of finding “the one” while still wanting to have fun with each other, so I think it would be awesome to have a Netflix couple’s season of Temptation Island.
A ‘Temptation Island’ Crossover With Netflix Stars Makes Sense
During my experience, while watching Too Hot to Handle and Perfect Match, I noticed that while some of the cast claimed that they wanted to find love and form meaningful connections, they were doing quite the opposite. The singles wanted to have fun and get physical with each other instead of getting to know each other on a deeper level. With Temptation Island, the couples that join clearly have toxicity issues from the jump. Otherwise, they would not be on Temptation Island. They want to figure their issues out with the partner that they joined the show with, while also giving into the temptation of fooling around with the singles that roam around the island. It is like the best of both worlds for everyone, which is why it would be perfect for some Netflix stars featured on these dating shows to join Temptation Island, because they all want to fool around with each other while forming connections as well. It would give them a better perspective on whether they really want to jump into a relationship with a cast-mate, or if they just got caught up in the moment on an island in a gorgeous villa.

‘Temptation Island’ Would Give These Couples the Ultimate Test
The couples that have made it out of Too Hot to Handle and Perfect Match always seem short-lived. The only couple out of these two hit Netflix shows that have made it in the long run are Emily Miller and Cam Holmes, who have been together successfully since filming Season 2 of Too Hot to Handle. Every other couple that we have all watched form a connection, has called it quits. These are the same people who preached about wanting to have fun rather than jump into a relationship, so why try to form a connection if you know in your head that you would rather be hooking up and having fun? This is why it would be amazingly entertaining to watch these people on Temptation Island.
Some of the most toxic Netflix couples that come to my mind are Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey from Season 1 of Too Hot to Handle, Chase DeMoor and Carly Lawrence from Season 2, and Harry Jowsey and Jessica Vestal from Season 2 of Perfect Match. Francesca and Harry may have been the most toxic Netflix couple I have ever seen. They lied to each other, cheated, and were on and off for a while after filming. Chase and Carly had no spark and seemed to use each other to stay in the villa until something better and new connections came along. Jessica was too pure and mature for a professional player like Harry, who kissed Melinda Berry behind her back. With couples such as these joining Temptation Island, they would definitely be put to the ultimate test. I would love to see if they learned a thing or two from Lana the cone and continued the connections they formed, or if they would see the next shiny thing and chase it.
Temptation Island is all about figuring out whether you want to stay with your current partner or explore the temptations handed to you. Similarly, Too Hot to Handle and Perfect Match consist of a group of singles that want to party and hook up. The couples that do come out of these shows are usually anything but sane, so I think it would be great to put them to the ultimate test and have them on Temptation Island.
