Several stars are speaking out in support of Aimee Lou Wood after Saturday Night Live made fun of her appearance and accent.
During the April 12 episode, the NBC series parodied The White Lotus with a sketch titled “The White Potus,” which poked fun at President Donald Trump and other politicians escaping Washington, DC to escape America’s tariff policies.
At one point during the sketch, Sarah Sherman came out portraying Aimee‘s White Lotus character Chelsea, while wearing exaggerated prosthetic teeth and imitating a Manchester accent.
After Aimee called out the parody as “mean and unfunny,” several stars were quick to come to her defense and support her.

Georgia May Jagger re-posted Cara‘s post on her own Instagram Story, adding “Agreed! @aimeelouwood is gorgeous.”
Jameela Jamil also showed her support for Aimee by re-posting an article about SNL‘s sketch on her Story, and wrote, “I hate this so much. It’s the least interesting or memorable thing about this brilliant actor. Our next Olivia Coleman. Hilarious, deep, vulnerable, and relentlessly lovable.”
“We make fun of the assimilation of women, and then mercilessly obsess over anyone with any slightly alternative features from whatever bulls–t AI standard we have allowed, as women, to take hold of this world,” she continued.
In a second Story, Jameela added, “I also think she’s so f–king beautiful and love her face so much and wouldn’t want her to look any different.”
While SNL has not publicly addressed the sketch, Aimee said they reached out to her and apologized.
If you didn’t see, Aimee talked about embracing her natural teeth while in the Hollywood scene.
